Here’s a bit of a story about how “Back Them Both” came into being.
We’re two sisters who love sport. Our dad’s business has sponsored Coventry City (men) and Rugby Borough Women — and we got to help. It was brilliant.
Since we were little, we’ve supported loads of good causes with him: Coventry United Women, the foodbank, Netball Aid, local hospitals and more. We’ve even run football and netball evenings for girls to come and try something new.
But we started noticing something. More businesses sponsor men’s sport than women’s.
We’re not here to blame anyone. We just want to celebrate the people who already back women in sport — and encourage more to join in.
